Stopping in a tranquil bay, you can snorkel in the blue Pacific or run down a deserted white sand beach while the crew prepares delicious snacks for the group.

The $180 fee includes a bilingual tour guide, round trip transportation to the launch site, private catamaran tour with snorkeling equipment, a light lunch and an open bar.

Golf at Hacienda Pinilla ($160)
Wednesday, March 14, 7:15 am

The Golf Course at Hacienda Pinilla offers one of the finest settings for links enjoyment in a country renowned for its golf tradition. Created by respected architect Mike Young, the layout conforms gracefully to the natural flow of the land, weaving through the tropical forest along the shores of the Pacific to provide an unparalleled blue water backdrop. This par 72 course, which can play up to 7,200 yards, was designed to enhance the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla, giving golfers an exceptional and immaculately conditioned place to enjoy a round with family and friends.

Reflecting respect for its natural setting, the Golf Course at Hacienda Pinilla has earned a designation as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its preservation of ecological balance. Here you have the extraordinary opportunity to enjoy your game in the natural habitats of Costa Rica, where the surrounding beauty and glimpses of exotic wildlife create a truly special experience. As an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, the award-winning golf course upholds the highest standards of course design, maintenance, and environmental preservation.

Legacy Luncheon
Thursday, March 15, 11:45 am - 1:15 pm

Lunch on Thursday will feature testimonials we’ve gathered from many past NFDA leaders.  They’ll reminisce about past NFDA experiences and give us their input on what they see for the future of the association.

The Flotilla
Thursday, March 15, 3:30 - 6:30 pm

A sort-of tradition at many NFDA meetings has been The Flotilla, where everyone gathers poolside in the afternoon. It seems appropriate to make it an official part of our 50th anniversary celebration. Relationship-building can take place by the pool as well as over a cup of coffee, right?

Reception with Dinner on Mansita Beach
Thursday, March 15, 7:30 pm

For our last night in Costa Rica, we’ll celebrate the 50th Anniversary with dinner in a spectacular setting, right on the beach along the Pacific Ocean.  Resort casual attire is required!
