Advanced Inside Sales
Advanced Inside Sales teaches new skills for your experienced inside salespeople, skills that fit today’s market. The three courses on this CD-based program cover pricing for greater profitability, finding opportunities for adding value and quantifying it in dollars and cents, and dealing with customers with multiple purchasing influences.
It’s not the usual inside sales training. But the market is demanding more than the usual inside sales skills. In dozens of companies, inside/outside sales teams are dividing up sales tasks not according to the salesperson’s functional area, but according to how their company can best serve the customer.
Because the role of inside sales in companies is changing and becoming more complex, NFDA is cooperating with twenty other distribution associations to create a CD-ROM-based training course to teach inside salespeople new skills to meet the challenges.
Three Courses on one CD include:
- Pricing - the impact of pricing on profitability, pricing from both the customer’s and the company’s perspective, and discovering opportunities for pricing improvement;
- The Complex Sale - Identifying influences and buying motivators, information gathering, and defining “win results” for the customer and the company;
- Quantifiable Value Added (QVA) Selling - The concept of quantifiable value added, identifying opportunities for QVA, methodology for quantifying improvement suggestions, QVA presentations and documentation.
In addition to the three courses, it includes a Resource Center, which will provide additional information on pertinent topics, and a final examination for each course.
Additional CD's are available for a nominal fee.

This guide provides information regarding innovations for the future, helps you find the ideal software for your needs, and helps you get the best value from your software investment. This guide will also help you recognize that even the best systems can be inefficient, how good planning and training can minimize problems, and that automation is not a one-time project.
