Hotel Reservations
Meeting attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations.
The 2010 Fall City Meeting will be held at the Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel, just outside of downtown Chicago. A special discounted NFDA rate is available until Monday, August 23, 2010 or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. To reserve your suite(s), contact the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare at 773-380-9600. Be sure to mention you are with NFDA in order to receive the negotiated room rates.

Check-in at the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 12:00pm. Complimentary luggage storage will be available for all NFDA guests on Wednesday, September 15.
Attention Local Residents: In order to secure a suite for a full day of meetings on Wednesday, September 15th you must book your reservation for the evening of Tuesday, September 14th. When making your reservation, be sure to follow the instructions below.
- Reserve your room for Tuesday, September 14th. You must check in on Tuesday to ensure the hotel does not drop your reservation. Make sure to indicate your check in time when calling in your reservation. You will be charged the NFDA rate for Tuesday night.
- In order to secure your suite for the entire day on Wednesday, you must request a late check out at the time your make your reservation. Upon checking in to the hotel, be sure to confirm your late check out. The NFDA half day rate will apply for a check out time of 6pm on Wednesday.
Suite Rate: $165 per night single/double occupancy
Wednesday Half-Day Rate: For guests wishing to check-out after 12:00pm on Wednesday, September 15, a late check-out fee of $82 will be extended for 6:00pm departure. To take advantage of the late check-out offer, you must indicate your preference upon check-in at the hotel.
Reservation Deposit & Cancellation Policy: All suites require a deposit equal to one night’s stay. If you wish to cancel your hotel room, please do so 24 hours prior to arrival or your deposit will not be refunded.

Parking Availability and Rates
There is a parking garage available next to the Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel. Parking rates are as follows:
- $15 Daily Rate
- $20 Overnight Rate
Complimentary Shuttle bus information from O'Hare
Once you arrive at O’Hare airport, proceed to baggage claim. Follow the signs labeled “Bus/Shuttle Center” to the nearest underground pedestrian walkway. In the elevator press the Bus/Shuttle Center button. Once in the center, wait by Door 2. The vans arrive every 30 minutes between 6:00am-11:00pm.

A taxi from O’Hare Airport to the hotel costs approximately $12.00 one way.
Weather
September temperatures in the Chicago area range from an average low of 57 degrees to an average high of 76 degrees. As always, temperatures and weather patterns vary. Evening and meeting room temperatures can be cool, so please plan accordingly.
Attire
Dress for all events is business casual. Suggested attire for men includes slacks and sport shirts with no tie; for women, suggested attire includes slacks/skirts, pantsuits or a casual dress.
