Transportation
The Omni La Mansión del Rio hotel is ideally nestled along the historic River Walk among the banks of the Paseo del Rio in downtown San Antonio, just nine miles from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT).
Taxi
Taxis from the San Antonio International Airport are readily available outside the baggage claim area. A taxi will cost approximately $27 one way from the airport to the Omni La Mansión del Rio hotel. Up to four may share a cab.
Shuttle
Airport Express offers daily shuttle service from the San Antonio International Airport to the Omni La Mansión del Rio hotel from 7:00 a.m. – 1:30 a.m. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes outside baggage claim. Tickets can be purchased at the baggage claim area or online (a link to the shuttle Web site is available at www.nfda.org).

Weather
San Antonio’s spring climate provides the ideal setting for those seeking comfortable, sunny weather outdoors. Highs tend to top around 80 degrees, and lows only get down to the upper 50’s. As always, temperatures and weather patterns vary. Evening and meeting room temperatures may be cool, so please plan accordingly.
Attire
Dress for all events, with the exception of the Dinner Gala, is business casual. Suggested attire for men includes slacks and sport shirts with no tie; for women, suggested attire includes slacks/skirts, pantsuits or a casual dress. Attire for the Dinner Gala is formal business dress.
