Leadership Golf Outing

From the mind of world-renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills comes a course that promises an enjoyable and unforgettable golf adventure. The Padre Course features towering trees, subtle landforms and impressive bunkering to sharpen your game. This 6,903-yard, par 72 design is known for its strategic layout, challenging water holes, recently having had its 9th hole voted the best water hole in the state by Arizona Golf Magazine.

Welcome Reception & Ruby Races
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Gather with colleagues and industry peers in a relaxed and casual atmosphere for the Spring Meeting Welcome Reception. Take this time to catch up with friends and meet new potential business partners. In honor of NFDA’s 40th “Ruby” Anniversary the Welcome Reception will feature the highly anticipated “Ruby Races”. Pick a pig and place your bets! All proceeds go to the NFDA Memorial Scholarship Fund. Cocktails and light hors d’ oeuvres will be served, all registered spouses/guest are welcome to attend. Dress is business casual.

Join your colleagues at the Welcome Reception during the NFDA Annual Spring Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona to support the NFDA Memorial Scholarship Program. Pick a pig and place your bets! Snow Flower and the Secret Fan

Each spouse/guest that registers for the Annual Meeting will be sent a book to read which has been selected by the spouses on the Social Committee. The book will be a quick-read to ensure that everyone will have sufficient time to complete it prior to the function. The group will gather in a comfortable setting to openly discuss and critique the book.
Participation is optional. This is a fun and creative way to meet new people and engage in stimulating conversation.
Golf Scramble (optional)
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

This traditional American links-style course has been created in a breathtaking setting with magnificent mountain backdrops, lush palm and eucalyptus-lined fairways, and scenic water holes. The 7,014-yard, par 72 course is a dynamic layout that will be sure to test your skills while offering a friendly golf experience. The non-competitive golf scramble is a fun and relaxing way to spend the afternoon with your fellow NFDA members.

Desert Jeep Tour (optional)

Join the adventure on a four wheel drive expedition into the foothills of the Sonoran desert, which boasts an abundance of plant and animal life like no other desert in the world. Experience the spectacular beauty up close and personal with your own cowboy guides, who are knowledgeable in Arizona history and legend. Learn all about the native plant life, wildlife and Indian folklore indigenous to Arizona. Enjoy a leisurely entertaining and informative nature walk while your guide identifies the numerous varieties of cacti and explains how the native people learned to utilize these natural resources. Keep an eye out for a glimpse of an eagle, coyote, jackrabbit or elusive javelina – there is truly no better way to experience the desert!

Volleyball Match (optional)

It’s the distributors versus the associates! Enjoy a non-competitive game of volleyball with your peers. All are welcome to participate.

The 40th Anniversary Ruby Reception, Silent Auction and Gala Dinner is an excellent way to meet new colleagues and catch up with old friends. During the reception you can peruse the items available for auction and bid on things that catch your eye – remember all proceeds from the auction go toward the NFDA Memorial Scholarship program. Once you’ve placed your bids, enjoy the company of your fellow members as you dine on a delicious dinner in a festive atmosphere.
