Optional Activities

Golf ($90)
Wednesday, March 15 - 8:00 am (first tee time)

Designed by William Bell in 1933, the course at Lakewood Country Club is one of the original gems of Southern California golf. Water comes into play on seven of the holes, mainly from its signature man-made Lake Bouton. One of the longer courses in the area at over 7,000 yards, the course has limited elevation changes and tree-lined fairways. Lakewood Country Club is located less than 30 minutes from the Westin Long Beach.

The $90 fee includes a cart, range balls and a voucher to use in the pro shop or snack bar. The last day to register for golf is Monday, March 6. You do not need to register for the conference to register for golf.

We would like to thank our generous golf sponsors:

Spouse/Guest Queen Mary Tour ($40)
Friday, March 17 - 11:30 am - 4:30 pm

On Friday, March 17, we’ll board the legendary ocean liner, the Queen Mary, and start with English High Tea (think finger sandwiches, scones, and assorted teas!) while enjoying scenic harbor views.  After tea, we’ll have an exclusive guided historical tour covering the groundbreaking construction through the ship’s service during World War II.

After the Queen Mary tour, there will be plenty of time to further explore the vessel, have a beverage on the Observation Deck or take in an exhibition such as “Diana: Legacy of a Princess.”  The $40 fee includes transportation, one guided tour, and English High Tea.
